I am Vittorio Viarengo. This is my professional blog and my detailed profile is on LinkedIn
I have been working in software product companies all my career. After my beginning as the founder and CEO (and part time software developer) of my own start-up (ViVi Software), I have been spending all of my career sitting between a development team and marketing, sales, analysts, and customers either as product manager, running a development team directly and most recently product marketing. I worship great engineers (who indeed make the world go round) and I respect and listen to customers.
I learned most of what I know about teams, passion for people, products and customers working in my father’s bakery and many friends and colleagues still call me “a simple baker from Italy“, which makes me proud.
Since my partner Carlo Innocenti (AKA Minollo) and I sold our start-up to Object Design in 1998 and moved to the US, I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with amazing people at Object Design, BEA, Oracle, Keas.com and VMware and now MobileIron. I believe that this is the best country in the world for people who are willing to take risks and work hard and despite the recent economic challenges we have faced, I do think that this country still remains the land of opportunity.
Loved your preso at PEX on Tuesday afternoon. We are a national VMware partner and part of the vCloud program as a hoster. Can you send me your preso from the event.
Good stuff, we aren really use this as a framework.

Vittorio, look forward to joining you in the journey
buonasera Vittorio!
ho assistito oggi pomeriggio (3 novembre 2010) all’incontro legato al Silicon valley tour in villa cambiaso e volevo ringraziarti…

Bene!! Vittorio
Oh no! Your not scheduled to speak at VMware Partner Exchange 2011?? Your session back in 2010 was one of the best.
Thanks. No PEX for me this year. I am busy back here at the ranch
